I need a way to track units as they are deployed and handed out to users. On our previous RF guns (MC9090) we had room to label the sides… This wore off or was peeled off and we had to replace it frequently. I like the DXU icon as it pops up and shows the current IP address. So that being said is there a way to use this awesome tool to capture the serial number of the device and display it preferably as a barcode?
I would prefer to capture the data for each unit on the unit automatically and then display it in a barcode format that I can scan off the screen.
There is little to no space for a label and we did try a small 2D label in the open recess to the side of the back camera. No luck as they came off after a few weeks.
