Hello, We’re in a process to validate memor 11 devices on our environment.
We have an application that have special way to update. When the application start, check itself if there’s is an update, and if there is one, download the apk and present the user with the android dialog box to install the app

when you are in datalogic launcher this dialog box doesn’t popup, you need to exit launcher and start the app on android launcher.
We have enable this option: “Allow applications to launch other applications” but still not showing the dialog box
Is this an expected behaviour? Can we do something to overcome this problem?

We need to be able to identify which activity is being blocked.

I’ve seen with datalogic launcher 1.3.0 there is a new option:
Allow self-update of apps
I will try if this will fix my problem.
EDIT: Yes, this seems to fix problem with self-update apps.
Another question @Drew_Hugentobler , more and more apps are coming in xapk and/or app bundle…
This new format of apps will be supported to install with datalogic studio in a future? as apk are doing now.
Is there any way for users to control brigthness with datalogic launcher?

My understanding is that XAPKs are generated by services like APKPure.
Google does not natively support XAPKs and as such I do not believe we will be supporting them.
